CORAL-ARTE:
art with a social commitment

CORAL is very happy to share the news that our second annual art auction benefit was a success! The event took place at the prestigious Mexico City art house, Centro Cultural Casa Lamm in on December 1st of last year.

Once again, we were fortunate to have the support of the Noel Cayetano Gallery. In addition to collaborating with Noel, this time we had the pleasure to work directly with the following artists from Oaxaca: Antonio Turok, Christian Thornton, Dr. Lakra, Fernando Aceves Humano, Gabriela León, Guillermo Olguín, Manuel de Cisneros, Raúl Herrera, Rolando Rojas, Rubén Leyva, Sabino Guisu and Sergio Hernández. We were deeply impressed by the generosity of the Gallery and the artists, as well as by their strong commitment to civil society.

It was also a very positive experience working with the staff of Casa Lamm and in their facilities. CORAL is very grateful to each one of the artists; we felt very proud to carry their work to the Mexico City on behalf of CORAL. Our friends at Pierde Almas and Los Danzantes once again sponsored the Oaxcan mezcal selection that we offered to the event participants. Congratulations to all those who were able to acquire high quality art at affordable prices while supporting CORAL´s work for low-income people with hearing loss in Oaxaca.

We invite you to browse through the catalog of art auctioned that night as well as the report of the results. See you next year!
